Available Settings
Batch Size
Default: 10 messages
Controls how many messages are sent in each processing cycle. Higher values send faster but may:
- Trigger rate limits on your email provider
- Overwhelm your mail server
- Impact deliverability
| Value | Use Case |
|---|---|
| 10-25 | Small businesses, conservative sending |
| 25-100 | Medium businesses, established senders |
| 100-500 | High-volume senders with good reputation |
Start Low
If you're new to email marketing, start with a lower batch size and increase gradually as you establish your sender reputation.
Cancel Window
Default: 5 minutes
The delay before the first batch starts sending. This gives you time to:
- Review the recipient list
- Cancel if you spot an error
- Make last-minute changes
| Value | Use Case |
|---|---|
| 1 minute | Quick sends, experienced users |
| 5 minutes | Standard safety buffer |
| 15-30 min | Large campaigns, extra review time needed |
| 60 min | Maximum review time for critical campaigns |
Batch Delay
Default: 60 seconds
The wait time between sending batches. Longer delays:
- Spread sending over more time
- Reduce load on mail servers
- Improve deliverability for large campaigns
| Value | Messages per Hour (batch size 10) |
|---|---|
| 30 sec | 1,200 |
| 60 sec | 600 |
| 120 sec | 300 |
| 300 sec | 120 |
Send Warning Email
Default: Enabled
When enabled, company administrators receive an email before each campaign starts sending. The warning includes:
- Campaign name
- Number of recipients
- Scheduled send time
- Link to cancel if needed
This provides an extra safety check, especially useful when multiple team members manage campaigns.
Calculating Send Time
To estimate how long a campaign will take to complete:
Total time = Cancel Window + (Recipients / Batch Size) × Batch DelayExample: 500 recipients, batch size 10, 60s delay, 5min cancel window
5 min + (500 / 10) × 60s = 5 min + 50 min = 55 minutesBest Practices
For Small Lists (< 100 contacts)
- Batch size: 10-25
- Cancel window: 5 minutes
- Batch delay: 30-60 seconds
For Medium Lists (100-1,000 contacts)
- Batch size: 25-50
- Cancel window: 5-15 minutes
- Batch delay: 60 seconds
For Large Lists (> 1,000 contacts)
- Batch size: 50-100
- Cancel window: 15-30 minutes
- Batch delay: 60-120 seconds
- Consider sending at off-peak hours

Increase batch size or decrease batch delay. Be cautious not to exceed your email provider's rate limits.
Getting rate limited by email provider
Decrease batch size and increase batch delay. Check your provider's sending limits.
